Facial Fillers

Perlane, Restylane, Radiesse & Juvederm

Are you fed up with wasting your money on expensive wrinkle creams that just don’t deliver what they promise? If you thought surgery was your only remaining option, it’s time to consider dermal fillers.

Facial Fillers

For smoother, more youthful natural-looking skin, many medical spa Nashville clients turn to facial fillers, which are used by many older models and celebrities who want to present a smooth contoured face to the world—without undergoing risky time-consuming surgery and recovery periods. These gels are injected into the skin on the face wherever wrinkles and folds are a concern—the lines between your nose and the corners of your mouth, between your eyebrows, or along the jawline. The average treatment takes only about 30 minutes, and lasts six months to two years before needing to be repeated, providing volume and fullness that eliminates wrinkles for a fraction of the cost of a surgical facelift—and no recovery time.

Our medical spa Nashville patients have several facial filler options available, depending on their individual needs. Perlane and Restylane are transparent gels made from lab-grown hyaluronic acid, a compound that occurs naturally in the human body and is therefore very well tolerated. Perlane has a larger particle size than Restylane, so is generally chosen for deeper skin depressions. The fillers are injected into or just under the skin to smooth out folds and wrinkles right before your eyes.

After consultation with Dr. Tif Siragusa at Siragusa Vein and Laser Center, many of our patients choose one of the forms of Juvederm to plump up facial wrinkles, anything from fine, superficial lines to deeper depressed folds of skin. These fillers are also made from synthetic hyaluronic acid, and also last from six months to two years, depending on how your skin ages and how you take care of it in the meantime. Our highly skilled staff will help develop a follow-up care plan tailored to your particular skin type and lifestyle.

Another popular filler called Radiesse is made from calcium hydroxyapatite, suspended in a cellulose gel. It is a thicker substance than Perlane or Restylane, so may be the treatment of choice for those with deeper rather than more superficial wrinkles. It also lasts longer, and is considered a semi-permanent filler.

Contact Dr. Siragusa at our Nashville or Hermitage location today, and tap into his experience and expertise as you develop a treatment plan together that will meet your particular needs. Our goal is for you to love the face looking back at you from the mirror again, as your smooth, youthful appearance returns.
